DOA Shooting Bench is a USMC-veteran-founded company. We started building these things years ago purely as a hobby—just knocking them out for ourselves and a handful of friends who were thoroughly done with the usual market options that were either portable or stable, but somehow never both. We wanted a bench that could fold up on itself into something actually compact and transportable, yet still feel like it was bolted to the planet once it was set up. Shockingly, that combination didn’t already exist, so we built it. The result is the DOA Shooting Bench, which we’re happy to call the best portable shooting platform available—mostly because everything else was so underwhelming.

We use quality materials and generally try not to treat customer service like an afterthought. The bench you get is the exact same one we’ve been using in the field ourselves—no watered-down civilian version, no secret military-only upgrade. Elite units around the world have been running our benches for the last 14+ years, which either means we’re doing something right or the competition has been sleepwalking. Either way, we currently make the most solid, portable, 360-degree rapidly adjustable shooting bench on the market, and it’s still made in the USA.

Concrete remains the only thing that beats us for pure, unyielding rigidity—but good luck lugging a slab of that to the range and setting it up in under an hour. Instead, the DOA bench and your body form a rigid damped spring/mass system that soaks up a useful chunk of the gun-plus-body recoil, so you can get back on target faster instead of waiting for the vibration to finish its little dance.
